Lupus 100 is a comprehensive online resource website dedicated to providing information and support for individuals affected by Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). This case study outlines the development process and challenges At
The primary challenge of Lupus 100 was to create an accessible platform offering accurate and reliable information in multiple languages, starting with English, to cater to diverse user demographics without overwhelming the user with content. Therefore Atomic proposed a number of user case studies to ensure the flow was one click away from finding the information they need through the accordion. The other challenge was how to display the multiple languages, Atomic proposed a simple landing page showcasing all the offered languages and the flag to make this easy for readers to continue.
Content Development: The initial challenge was organising and condensing vast amounts of medical information into digestible content suitable for a diverse audience. To ensure accuracy and reliability, all medical content was transcribed by professionals in the field, guaranteeing the highest standards of information.
Multilingual Support: Recognising the need to reach a global audience, the website was developed to support multiple languages, starting with English. This involved translating key content and resources to make them accessible to non-English speakers, thereby enhancing inclusivity and usability.
